I hope so. I haven't seen any public announcement from the brewery, and Eric, the brewer, hasn't mentioned anything on social media, that's just what I'm hearing for now. I'll see what I can find out.

I want to thank folks, especially @beertunes, for this thread. There's no recurring "Visiting Bellingham" thread [hint, it'd be a good idea], so this is as close as it gets, and it was helpful. We hit Chuckanut for lunch (great pilsner, the best food of our visit), stopped at Wander in the afternoon, and then went to the Local for dinner with our niece and nephew. I liked Wander a lot. I thought the Local's taplist was excellent, their food a bit less impressive. And then it turned out that the best brewery in Bellingham turns out to be in Arlington, as we stopped at Skookum on our way back home. More on that in the Skookum Appreciation thread.

I was left guessing what @beertunes' favorite establishment is. (See the post by @JonnyBeers above.)

I floated the idea of a "Visiting NWWA" thread, and the general consensus was that we're not quite at the point of such a thread having value. Such is life.

That said, that's also why this thread exists; maybe we're not quite worthy of a full-time thread, but we have enough interesting things going on, that a "North Sound" thread, despite its flaws, has value.

Also, any of y'all (@VashonGuy ) that are coming through town, please message @TheBungyo , or me, schedules allowing, we're more than happy to say hey!. @AlohaStyle , is likely friendly as well, but, I can't guarantee.

Been a while since I popped into this thread, so maybe that's why I was surprised at how many Kulshan cans were in a certain NW WA BA's BIF box. Do they pretty much can everything?

CD has made landfall in Spokane, at least at Rocket Market. Haven't seen it elsewhere yet (I bought a can for @LehighAce06's box, which you may have seen in the pic he posted on the BIF thread).

So long as the quality stays the same, no reason for this to be bad news per se.

Not everything, but lots of stuff. That's what happened to be in the Food Coop the day I bought the BIF beers.
Another 832 cases canned yesterday, so you should see it with some regularity.
Yeah, for sure. His diner does good food, and apparently he's keeping all staff, so that's good. He does sell beer at his diner, so maybe we'll get some NF stuff in town more regularly.

We were maybe 5-10 minutes ahead of that. We had gone down to Stones Throw, hit Archer, stopped by BB so Chris could grab his bike, so we had a quick one, and were headed to Wander. It was a screwy situation. I was gonna post a link, but the Hairball's website is being wonky. For those that don't know, last Sunday there was a random stabbing, followed by folks chasing the stabber down the street, and then the cops shooting the stabber. Same time, there was a random weird guy walking around with an axe, threatening people. Interesting times indeed.

Sounds like a typical weekend in Spokane, at least if you write for the Guardian.

I'm from Minnesota. I'll be in Seattle the next 2 days. What's the best taps n bottles to spend my time hunting that would be specific to the region that I can't snag back home? Just stuff I can get tonight or tomorrow, basically. Thanks in advance!

Just found out that Bryan Cardwell, the head brewer at Chuckanut, will be leaving soon, and heading down to join the team at Pfriem. Josh Pfriem was the original head brewer at Cnut, so there's a bit of synergy there.

Well, Michael and Catfish have been on staff for years, and I have no doubt that they will carry on properly. Plus, Will Kemper still oversees everything, so I expect zero change in quality.
