Not sure what all the excitement is about As. I got a couple of DDs, which is just the way I prefer to roll. To each their own I guess.

We finally got in; Mrs and I scored 2 each for D and son in law in MI got 2 for E. With at least four in our group, I'll take it. We went last year with no tickets and besides bottle share, I came home with 5 DL via trades, keeping a vertical since '09 going

 

I knew I should have held out. C was the highest I got in 1.5 hours so I just went for it.

 

I just want them to officially be sold out so I can stop dreaming of an A somehow slipping to me

 

Mine kept timing out and I'd back arrow and it would put me back in queue. Did that four times at least. At around 12:40 it popped up A tickets.

Going back the last few years what has been the average amount of days in person tickets went on sale after online sales?

 

Anywhere from this Sunday to a week before the event. It used to always be a Sunday, then I think last year they did a random weekday. It's anyone's guess man, and tough to plan for it.

 

I think the last 2 years it's been a weekday. The year before was a Saturday or Sunday.

 

Minus the Etix meltdown for approximately 10 minutes, there is not a lot of complaining here. What gives?

Is it officially time to start rumors on variants now?

Third DLD (2010, 2016), but early departures both years (friends went too hard, too early). I'm trying to do it up right this year. A few questions:

1. I know there's typically a bottle share at the Hampton Inn. We're staying at the Fairfield in Hammond. Anyone know if anything happens at this spot?

2. Parking - I know parking is "limited," but if we get there aggressively early, are there places to park? In other words, how limited is limited (actually, limited, or more of a CYA by 3F)?

3. We'll be coming from Pittsburgh with some pretty good rare local stuff (The End, DoubleMex, some Voodoo stuff, etc.), looking to maybe tag along with some seasoned veterans to show us the ropes.

I can interject.

Why is the weather still uncertain? Is there going to be a Handjee again? Why don't I know that for certain?! How can I possibly gage whaleztradez value bro if I don't know bottle count of every variant? Where will I sleep because I have no hotel booked? Who will feed me and provide me water??

This is horribly unreasonable not to know already, and I'm certain 3Floyds or someone else other than me is to blame for not knowing all the answers.

Are you headed for the south gate or north gate? What time were you thinking of showing up in the morning?

 

We're in C-D, so probably South Gate so we don't clog up the A line.
