I'm sure I'll spend at least $20-$30 on food (I've learned that eating well throughout the day keeps one from getting wrecked). I'll probably end up spending $50-$100 on merch (at least one shirt and glassware...and anything interesting that pops up like the bottle openers from last year).

I guess I skimmed over this because I thought they went voucherless this year, but, you have to buy the vouchers to buy the food now? So there will be additional clusters of lines? Can't just pay cash at tap stations?

I'm going out on a limb and will assume everything (food and taps) will be in $5 increments. A beer will run $5 and food will go from $5-$15.

No, we are predicting vouchers since they have said handling cash is labor intensive and slows lines down.

They did do away with vouchers, at least including them with the ticket. I'm thinking they'll just go back to cash like it always used to be.

Would be a bad move IMO, I've seen this additional step wreak absolute havoc at much smaller festivals.

So then add more lines for converting cash to vouchers?

I always tell myself I am going to buy food and then the day goes by and its 2pm and im already ready to go and eat somewhere where the food isn't out of a food truck. Hopefully that changes this year for me.

We eat breakfast at the hotel. I bring Cliff Bars to eat during DLD, and then I go have a big dinner after we leave. So I probably wont bring a lot of money for food but I usually get 2-3 guest tap beers, a hoodie, and glass ware.

Breakfast is dangerous for me. Breakfast + millions of beers = Live Stomach. I usually bring a bag of pretzels. I have never thought of bringing Clif/Protein Bars. I'm going to look into that.

I really have no idea how much to spend. I only used 2 vouchers, but part of that was people around me sharing pours.

I definitely need to wait in line for a food truck. I was pretty wrecked by about 1. Or at least eat the snacks in my bag, though I'm more likely to immediately chase those with more beer.

I don't really do merch. Especially glassware because I don't trust myself to bring it home in one piece.

I like the three taco idea. Eat one, age one, and trade one.

I used up all of my vouchers. I'd say $30 worth on food and $10 on the taps. I eat a lot when I'm drinking. That doesn't include the snacks I brought with.

That's rough man, for most people a heavy, eggy breakfast can work wonders in delaying the effects of alcohol.

I do the traditional Egg McMuffin (or two) and hashbrown on the drive in.

Would you rather wait in one line once to get vouchers or longer every time you get a beer or food? Lines were excellent last year.

I would rather wait in one line once, not two lines twice.

The lines for food were insane last year. 90% of my friends who waited in line for food bailed after 30 minutes.
