I was group C last year at 1 pm and if the line was anything like last year you will be in and out under 5 minutes. I walked, correction stumbled and half carrying my drunk buddy through the zig zag rope posts without ever stopping due to people in front of us. Got into the allotments they rip the bottom of the ticket, hand you a terrible tote bag of 4 DLs, send you to pick a variant and then we were out. Multiple people people working the reg DL allotments as well as per a variant at each table.

 

I guess those guys are everywhere. I don't care what the beer was... that's just absurd.

 

Decided to quit lurking and log in just to post here. So close to 100 pages, and talking about almost nothing. It's like a beer drenched Seinfeld.

Is anyone else a group B and thinking that the 8 am shuttle isn't early enough? I worry that I'll get there at 9, and if the line somehow is a shitshow, I'll be getting in for my allotment later than I'd like. I guess I should preface that by saying I'd like to be one of the first people in B to get my allotment. So, I'm thinking that sharing an Uber earlier may be the way to go if anyone is interested.

I was group B last year, got in line around 9:30am, once we got in the gates went straight to the warehouse to get our beers. We both got FVM zero issues. Plan on doing the same this year.

Group B pickup actually starts an hour and a half earlier (11 instead of 12:30).

I had the same thought, you're probably not going to have much margin for error if you are group A or want to be early group B.

Anyone looking for a ride from the NW Suburbs? I've got a 24 passenger bus leaving from Schaumburg near Wise/Roselle Rd at 9am (arriving at the Munster Speedway at 10am-ish). Looking to add a stop in the Bartlett area before at 8:45am if there are enough people out that way that want to ride. We'd leave DLD at 6:30pm in the evening. Ideally, it's great if you're in groups B-E. The bus will not be available to store your allotment during the event.

It's $800 total with one stop and $860 with a stop in Bartlett (including taxes and tip). Right now I've got 11 people w/no stop ($800) so it's $72 round trip but the more people we add the price goes down. DM if you're interested.

Anyone else hope they bring back the Dark Lord Hot Dog?

 

I've never had it but I have heard about it. So far I've had the tacos (which were awesome) and the burger (which was pretty damn good). I wanted the breakfast tacos last year but didn't see them. I'm not sure if they were around for 2016. @kodt do you happen to know?
