    With nothing important to do between now and tomorrow's 6 p.m. wakeup call for my 2-hour roadie to Austin for James McMurtry, I figured if I went to bed before 8 a.m. I'd just be getting in my own way ... so ... I'm sipping chocolate whiskey sent to me from Michigan. :grinning::grinning::grinning:

    It's a weird one, just two midweek days to handle another McMurtry Wednesday midnight at the Continental Club in Austin, but what are vacation days for if not to stand 10 feet from James McMurtry while he plays Choctaw Bingo?

    Mix in the fact that I work late shifts, and we roll until the sun comes up (with KBS in hand) to make this stuff work. :grinning:

    Drinking another while the interesting combination of ingredients are still fresh and bending the palate. I completely understand the love/hate for this beer. Color me a fan!

    My mutts haven't tired from a walk and are doing their best 'let us out' look. They know I'll eventually give in!
