Just a good between stain/preservative buckets time to stop.

I decided to hit the snooze button a few times until the morning rain stopped, then ran a few quick miles. I planned on another day of rest, but it's too comfortable outside to waste. Walked the mutt and did some floor exercises and foam rolling, it's time for a recovery beer.

This beer punches you in the head with fresh strawberries the moment you pry off the crown. It's just ridiculously good and easy to drink! Perfect while I chill on the patio and listen to the bluejays scream.

I've had this glass for a number of years and not sure I ever noticed the state of Wisconsin etched on the bottom? Cheers to the week ahead!

Broke out a 13 Coffee I got recently to celebrate a job offer I received. Now I just have to figure out if I want to take a 2-11 shift.

Moderate to vigorous pour yields a 1/2 inch tan head over a dark brown body with minimal lacing. Nose of coconut, malted milk chocolate, and more coconut. Taste of more of the same. Rather thin feel with a dry finish. Overall, not too bad.

 

The fridge is packed with pint cans of hops, so it's Fruity Nuggets turn to go. Another enjoyable beer from 450 North in my amateur opinion. The sun finally decided to show up today. Time to light the grill for a couple of pork chops.

For $1.something a can, how could I refuse?

It's tasty, in that it's a little wine-ish, a little fruit punchy, and a little like soda. Not what I'm looking for personally, but I can see how this would be easy drinking for a broad audience.

 

Damn Sure is another half day, cheers all!
