Are the 4 and 5 beans variants a brewery release and not distro?

Wow Ima try to find a on line store that is going to sell the barrel aged 3beans, that sounds major. Or try to trade for it.

Yes, these versions of the 4 and 5Beans are small-batch only that can be purchased through the app and picked up at Sixpoint Brewery.

Unrelated will all the beers get this new can design makeover? These new cans are fire.

The small-batch series is and access through our app is going to be like looking into the future for Sixpoint - both design-wise and formulation wise. More to come....

Unfortunately I have never seen Sixpoint here. My understanding being that as usual Northern Europe/Scandinavia are more spoiled and have the distribution.

If anything, ''webshops'' in Europe like www.beergium.com have a large choice of American craft, but I have yet to see sixpoint.

    Looking forward to it.

I was doing general thinking and realized You can purchase beer to pick up at the brewery.......that makes waiting in line almost obsolete. Im sure youve said this before but i hope more follow suit. Its an awesome idea.

    Sixpoint is the future ^^^

Tried the Tesla in FL last week. A really great hoppy Lager. Hoppy Pilsners aren’t my thing but Tesla is very smooth.

I had the beans beers yesterday at brewery, all really great. Probably liked the 4 Beans the best. Also had a 2012 3 Beans, it was still really good.

@Sixpoint your Massachusetts Rep Matt swung by my store the other day and had a sample of Tesla for me. Loved it! We do well with Jack’s Abby Hoponious Union which is a hoppy pale lager but I thought Tesla blew it outta the water. He also mentioned a local bar is the only place in MA getting a keg of Smoothie, can’t wait to share a pint or 3 with him when it comes!

There seems to be some love rolling in here for the lagers. Its pretty awesome that some of ya'll are just discovering these but we've made the Crisp since 2006 and we have been canning it since 2014. The Tesla was first made in 2013 and then first canned a couple of years ago. Good news on that front - we will be releasing two brand new lagers next year - both in draft and in cans.....details to follow

looking forward to expanding upon the Bean Day festivities for next year and beyond...as a matter of fact we have a meeting about that this afternoon with the ops and brewing team to discuss just that!

@Sixpoint what was the NE IPA you had on the lines at the event Saturday? Was super juicy and hops were really muted - when is this one hitting cans?

hey Jack - that was a typo on my behalf! yes, we were canning the Crisp since 2011, not 2014....in 2011 we were doing tall-boy "pounders" of Crisp....we switched to six-packs in 2014 (glad we did!)

glad to know you think there is continuous improvement going on....will be super psyched to taste these two new lagers with you in 2018 - maybe we can do it at the brewery?

good question - look out below for this one to start appearing in cans starting in December via the app....tell your neighbor, tell your friend....

    Of the ones I've had:

    1. Hi-Res
    2. 4 Beans
    3. Resin

Those are pretty tightly packed score wise. Lovely brews. Just was on a trip out of state, and Resin was on tap. It was a tasty night.

Sounds like a plan to me. I do indeed like lagers! I just got back from my LHBS buying some lager yeast for some upcoming lager batches: CAP, Bohemian Pilsner, Tmavý Ležák and 1896 Michelob.

    Cheers!

    Jack -

You're not a homebrewer at that scale. You are a bona fide production brewery!

We'll have to get a taproom set up in your basement or man cave....

    cheers
