    Beautiful morning, pleasant brew . . .

    Dark black brown color with tan cap.

    Aroma of roasted malt with coffee and cocoa tones.

    Flavor of roasted malt and coffee on entry. Mid palate some dark fruit elements enter but quickly get pushed back by the stronger flavors. I don't get hops in the scent but find some in the flavor though it might do just as well without them. Aftertaste is more of the same.

    Texture is medium with balancing carbonation.

    A straight forward Porter with enough stuff to please a Guinness fan. Unpretentious and rewarding enough for what it is.

    Features Citra and Mosaic hops... Very smoothly fruity - nothing sharp or harsh here - and the bitterness is mild while the sugars are kept in check... Impressions of candied fruit - like from one of those holiday fruit cakes - tropical, orchard, and citrus - all melded together...

    Low-key and very soft...

    Just like li'l Cthulhu!

    Do you want to play a game? With li'l Cthulhu? Apparently you can!

    What's up everyone? Got a little bit of snow today in Freiburg, which is the first this year. Warming up with this amazing stout out of Norway. This is one beer that I could probably drink every day and be happy. Cheers all.
