    Next up is one of my all-time favorites! BA Oro Negro is off the charts! You even get a glimpse of our sad tree in the background. Didn't want to buy a bunch of ornaments in Germany that we can't bring back to California, so the kids are in the process of making some. Will update next week! Cheers all!

    A taste of my final gravity sample after transferring 3 gallons of barleywine into secondary fermentation. I wound up with a little too much volume in primary and dropped FG to 1.014. Started at 1.080 so around 8.7% when I was shooting for 9.2%. Tastes good for room temperature, flat, 16 day old barleywine though. It will be hard to let it sit long enough to reach it's potential.

    Amazing tropical fruit aroma and taste, balanced nicely by a good bitterness, so the beer doesn't seem too sweet. Great stuff.
