Brewed using hops grown in the front yard, mostly Columbus just due to yield. Had twice so far, first was the first tapping of the keg, smelled like fresh marijuana, tasted much better than expected based off of the nose. Second tasting was 3 weeks after tapping the keg, and brought forward a nose of brussel sprouts and old marijuana.

Hoppy rye saison, brewed with Columbus and Amarillo. A great style for any time of year! Saison blend I from the yeast bay is slowly becoming my house saison strain.

Currently drinking a pint of Citra APA. Always a big hit with friends and family. Fermented it with Heady Topper dregs that I grew up into a pitchable amount. I've used pretty much every commercially available Conan strain, and none of them compare to what I can grow from Heady cans. Not sure what the Alchemist is using, but it seems that none of the commercial strains are all that similar, unfortunately. Or maybe it's a generational thing?

Probably will kill the Baltic porter keg tonight. That will leave me without any kegs ready to serve. I think I might be just about out of CO2, too. I have some vacation time coming up and might use it to clean, revamp, and reorganize my keezer.

Last night was spectacular. While cleaning/ preparing several fermenters for the upcoming weekend, the foundry owner brought out the smoky blue Boris blueberry IRS, Belgian maplewood dark strong, and the last where's my ass mole beer. All aged ,all tasted great and after I got home finished the evening with a standard lager. Awsum

First poor of Crow The Dawn, a spiced Golden Belgian Ale I brewed for City Church Eugene with my wild isolated yeasts from my Nectarine tree. Hints of Cardamom, pepper, ginger, and a rich Peach and Pear note. Sweet and crackery malt, with a dry and slightly bitter finish. Lingering pepper note. Rosey alcohol. Needs a little more carbonation.
