    That one rage post could cost this brewery big time. I am blown away that a owner/head brewer would actually post this publicly, how dumb. It's one silly customer posting dumb comments who cares, now they will see a big hit over it.

    Yes, I corrected my post above. It was co-owner and brewer who blasted the customer over the comment, shocking actually to see this, social media is brutal and they are seeing the response.

    That's why I'm not a fan of facebook and twitter. You can say something dumb in an instant, but never be able to erase it. At least here we don't get into politics and whatnot (at least I haven't seen it) so the conversation is usually more friendly and calm. Beer advocate, the one decent social media site left!

    That is why so many parents need to keep kids off social media. One dumb post could cost them a future job or worse yet cost their parent their job. I have been reading stories about this and its horrible. Social media is bad stuff when people don't watch what they say, it never goes away.

    It's embarrassing enough when you look at an old myspace account (only social media I ever joined, for a short time) and see how cheesy you were ten years ago. Thankfully I didn't put anything too stupid on it (other than me with a corona. Gross...)

    I read about this earlier in the week. A really unfortunate episode on social media, as an owner of an establishment you have to conduct your business with professionalism no matter how tested you are. IIRC there was another incident like this posted in the BA forums a couple of years ago, I can't seem to find it through my search queries.

    So true, you will always have customers who are harsh but that is just part of the game. You cannot take it so personal to cost your company like this. If anything ask the guy what was so bad, why was the beer so horrible, see what went wrong. This story is a prime example of what not to do and should be shown to kids in school and adults as to how fast their life can go sideways by posting publicly. My firm addressed this years ago and so glad we did... LOL

    The owner could have jokingly trolled with a meme then asked what the problem was and win over so many people, but instead he went full on nuts. It's hard to walk back that kind of thing.

    I was looking at their different feeds online holy cow, its crazy. I never saw so many posts against them, their entire social media is destroyed. WOW
