I think we need a new thread on just Chocolate Stout releases! I’m always seeking them out and hate when I miss a good one! For example: I missed Brooklyn Brewery Black Ops within the last year. Saw it once and should of bought it then! Thanks! I’ll get the ball rolling with a Chocolate Stout I know of. Thanks!

Black OPS is not a chocolate Stout. Just like their Black Chocolate Stout has no chocolate in it either.

Ok, I didn’t know that. I missed out Foothills Sexual Chocolate also this time last year. Anybody know if they will have a 2018? And when?

Not a special release or anything but Samuel Smiths chocolate stout is a good widely available one.

Westbrook's 7th Anniversary Chocolate and Sea Salt Imperial Stout dropped recently in NJ. If you're looking for chocolate flavor in a stout I would recommend you pick this one up.

Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti...my favorite by a good margin.

I don't remember the exact date but I would say very end of 2015/beginning of 2016 with the influx of other 12 Percent brands that were new to NJ at the time.

Yes and I almost didn’t get any in 2017 but a friend randomly found some in the Lavalette, NJ in August!

Yard's Chocolate Love Stout is a winter release which I enjoyed a lot.

Also, not a stout but another dark chocolate beer I had recently and enjoyed was Kasteel Raspbarista Chocolate Quad.

At the extreme chocolaty end of the beer-taste spectrum would be Southern Tier's Choklat.

This one is good too. A little sweeter than the chocolate Yeti.

Considering you're in NJ I'd keep an eye out for Carton Cupid. Unsurprisingly, it is usually released around valentines day. There are no chocolate additions but honestly it's just fine without it, IMO

Another local you should keep an eye out for is Cape May King Porter Stomp. Hope this helps.

Definitely try this one, it tastes like a melted chocolate tootsie pop.

Founders Blackwatch I believe is a chocolate stout...it's awesome..is there a difference between a chocolate stout and a stout with chocolate in it??
