I've always thought Permanent Funeral by 3 Floyds was a badass name. I've never actually had the beer though.

You might get a kick out of Singlecut's brew names. Almost all are based on music. The name of the brewery is a guitar style. Song lyrics are often the names of their beer (Queen-Zeppelin-Sweet.. etc) or musical instruments/equipment.

Their beer is topnotch to boot. Hard to get in these parts, I usually have to drive at least an hour, and there's no guarantee I'll run into any of it.

Beers I've had by them: Are You Ready Steve; Weird and Gilly; Is This The Real Life; DDH Workers Are Going Home; Charlies Good Tonight.

That's great...I always thought that would be a cool idea for all a brewers beers be named after bands or tunes.... Baroness BA Stout...Trampled under hoof pale ale....

It was funny cause a guy posted the Mikerphone check 1 2 on WBAYDN and I replied "What is this" and he replied "a DIPA"...I guess that song isn't as popular as I thought.

I've always enjoyed the geographic or hometown references to beers. Like Bell's with Two Hearted, Kalamazoo Stout, Third Coast, Lager of the Lakes all referencing Michigan. Or Great Lakes Brewing with Lake Erie Monster, Commodore Perry, Burning River, Holy Moses, and Eliot Ness all referencing Cleveland icons and folklore.
