Way more ads these days?

    I'm seeing way more ads these days, especially in threads we're they never appeared: WBAYDN, etc. They appear all throughout the thread, not just the header. Is this just a necessary revenue thing?

    I get the “congratulations, you won a $1,000 Wal-mart gift card” pop up. Need to close and reopen. I assumed it was just an IOS thing but the only place it ever happens is on this web site. Anyone else?

    The Ads don’t bother me.

    I was noticing this on yesterday’s wbaydn thread. Did a double take because I never remember seeing ads in the forums. Every 5 or 6 posts was followed by a ad.

    Supporters don't see any banner ads. It's one of the perks.

    Yes, but there are other perks. I'm in it for the steak knives, they are real nice. :wink:

    For some reason I didn't realize that this was one of the perks, but that alone makes it worth being a supporter.
