Any thoughts on why this is happening to some, but not others? Is there some commonality as far as browser? I am using the latest Firefox with no issue. I have Malwarebytes installed, but it hasn't said it's blocking any redirects.

I can't find any useful info anywhere that solves the issue. Only thing I've found is saying it might be an app on my phone, but I've tried a bunch of malware apps and nothing shows up.

Is this only happening on phones and tablets? Anyone getting this on a Windows PC?

Update: frdads.com has been added to our block list, but our ad host can't seem to track the origin of these ads. So they're going to move us to a buyer whitelist soon, which should clear all of this up.

    It's specifically targeting mobile.

Then wondering why not all mobile. I'm running Chrome on the latest Android on Samsung Note 8, with Malwarebytes, and not seeing this issue. I see that at least one other person was running Android, and they are getting it.

My guess: there are a ton of different platforms, browsers, and vulnerabilities. So they're targeting the ones they can. It's a very common exploit.

yep, that one just got me too. Running latest chrome on Samsung j3. It's happened to me on other regular websites like thefreedictionary.com, but that one seems to have gone away maybe due to site administrator like what you are working on here.

Update: Our ad server tech report that they've been able to identify and block the culprit. If they get more reports, we'll then move to a whitelist.
