    Hey all,

I'm a newb to this forum, so forgive me if there are 1,000,000 other posts like this ha ha. I am going to be up in Seattle on Thursday through Sunday and will be staying about 5 min. from the Space Needle. I won't have a car, I plan on using Uber to get around when I need to. That being said, what are some good breweries in that area that I need to hit up?

Happy to help. There's a metric crap-ton of good beer around here, and the "Visiting Seattle/Portland/Bend" threads get updated more or less seasonally to make it easier to find the best of it.

Unsolicited advice: You specifically asked for "good breweries," but don't pass up the chance to hit some of the beer bars and bottle shops listed at the front of that "Visiting Seattle" thread. You'll miss some really good regional beers if you only visit breweries.

I would like to add a codicil to VURT's post: try out some of the 97,000baziilion other breweries we have, that aren't on the list. Personal tastes vary, and you may find a hidden gem. Be open-minded, and enjoy your visit!

That gets a Like for truth. And for the use of the word "codicil."
