It's equivalent to me seeing a 3F waxed bottle in distro and asking myself if I'd be it's over $20 or not.

 

Supposedly they only waxed the variants. Regular is still unwaxed I'm told.

It's the localization effect. That's my own term. But seriously, local people love shit more than anyone else. I say this all the time (I think I already said it in this thread) - Look at Jackie Os. Nobody loves Jackie Os like Ohioans. The degree to which Ohions laud JO far outpaces their quality of beer IMO (and, generally, I like it).

Or, if I can, Look at 450North in Indiana. W.T.F.

 

I’ve only had this beer once or twice, but if someone gets me one I’ll have a 3 year vertical in my cellar.

Yeah I understand what you’re saying but definitely going to push back on your Jackie O’s take... While the price point might be high, the quality of their BA stuff is absolutely top notch. Minus the recent infection issues (which they are addressing far better than most breweries have) the hype around JO’s is legit in my opinion.

As a chicagoan, our beer nerds gobble up everything NOT local, and tend to leave a lot of local stuff. I’m sure there’s a sizable amount of fibs at Perin today.

Yes, sold out at 3:30 is what I was just told. Which I completely do not understand. Something is not adding up. If they made as much as last year, which is what the spokeswoman said previously and they had the same party, total Michigan distribution, some Ohio distribution and still able to find in stores until December, how the hell could they run out?
