    For reasons completely unrelated to anything important this is my first beer today . . .

    Bright yellow color with white cap.

    Aroma of sweet malt, caramel then floral spicy hops.

    Flavor is caramel malt but not sweet, hops jump in almost at once and last to the finish. The hops are more spicy than floral and are about even with the malt for flavor The aftertaste shows just a bit more hop firmness and a slight touch of honey.

    Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

    A lot to like about this one though I was surprised at the perceived level of hop bitterness. Not necessarily a bad thing but a bit over the top.

    Almost 5 years ago Shaun Hill invited everyone to Hill Farmstead to pick dandelions for this beer.

    Today, I am inviting Spring back to Vermont to kick Winter the hell out of here!

    Bottled 07 2013.
