Do you brush your teeth before drinking?

This dilemma occurs so infrequently that I’ve never even thought about it. But I’m in the brush camp.

 

Right before? I'd be really reluctant, but if the situation dictated it, I'd be sure to rinse like hell, and even drink a glass of water when I got there first.

 

Right before, nope. 20+ minutes before, sure. Can't say I usually find myself in that dilemma much either though.

 

Brush your teeth, drink a glass of water, and you're good to go. If you think you need to brush your teeth you do.

 

I voted yes, oral hygiene is a priority in my life. Right before having a beer no I wouldn't, it would just taste gross.

 

I go out of my way to avoid brushing my teeth (or drinking coffee, or chewing gum for that matter) before going to a bar or brewery, but the scenario does not really come up all that often. But if I felt my breath was that kickin I’d go ahead and brush/wash despite the planned beer consumption.

 

I never drink in the morning, and I always brush in the morning, s o problem s solved. cheers

 

The toothpaste I use makes anything citrusy taste like crap. Or maybe they all do, I don't know. In any case, no.

 

I opened this thread thinking this was going to be some sort of odd marketing scheme/news article telling me the statistics on the importance of brushing my teeth before going to the bar.

Boy, was I wrong.

No wonder I'm divorced.

edit: to answer your question, no. I have no one to impress. I'm a hick not a hipster.

Toothpaste has Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in it. That is a type of soap.

It will seriously throw off your sense of taste.

I brush my teeth when I wake up and right before I go to bed, so never had this dilemma.
