Other Half (October 2018)

Based on what happened to my stomach about an hour after drinking, I would say yes.

 

Current batch is Space Daydream tasting killer already. OH killing it with their Galaxy forward beers lately. Would love to see the Single Hop version make a comeback sometime soon.

 

bummed that double citra sold out. i was going to try to pick up another 4 pack today. it's so good.

Dollar slice looks great. Citra and Galaxy are my two favorite hops

 

And it's a single that's at the meaty end of the single ABV range. Excited for this for sure!

galaxy hops have been fire this year across the board. seriously think most NE IPA rock star breweries best beers are just whatever hops had a great harvest. mosaic has been lacking this year.

 

Double Mosaic has always been my favorite OH beer, but recently I've noticed this same Mosaic issue a few people have mentioned. I remember going to OH for one of the first batches of DMD and it blew me away, so much blueberry on it.

 

Wonder how Dollar Slice differs from DDH Citra+Galaxy - that is one of my favorite OH beers so excited to try DS. From others' comments sounds like I should pick up the dual hop. And of course, love the DDH ACE.

 

While I agree that - in general - OH mosaic beers have been a bit underwhelming lately, this new Triple Mosaic is real solid.

 

$1 appears to be lower ABV, adds oats and is not DDH'd.

 

I don’t know. I’m drinking my first DMD now...it’s loaded with blueberry as far as I’m concerned. Being a Long Islander, Sand City kills Mosaic and this is pretty damn similar to what I’m used to.

 

Holy hell, drinking my last Forever Simcoe now, from the last batch, such smooth pineapple, really well rounded with a touch more malt coming through. Been a while since I've experienced such a dramatic shift in flavor profile (usually only keep them for about two weeks).

 

Feeling the same re OH mosaic beers. That is, until they dropped that last batch of original non DDH’d DMD. I thought that was the best showcase of mosaic I’ve tasted in about a year from OH.

Also, no one has said a word regarding this last batch of Hop Showers. Don’t be coy, people. Tell us how you feel. I, for one, accept our new hop shower overlords. I would like to remind them that as a regular hop shower fluffer, I can recruit others to help toil in their underground t-shirt factory caves.
