    Not Ohio stuff unfortunately.

    Bummer. Sorry, OP. He hasn’t been on in 3 days so this could take awhile or turn out how we likely all expect it to turn out-he'll never be seen or heard from again. It seems like he accepted the trade request, but I'm sure that's all a part of the scam, unfortunately.

    Also, @Treehouseguy , you follow this potential bad trader. Have you had any contact with him?

    I’ve come to terms with my mistake.
    I’ve had so many great experiences trading with you all on here that I didn’t follow proper protocol of vetting this guy and lapsed in judgement.
    Just want to make sure no one else gets screwed over.

    On a serious note I do not have any 2014 BBPt5 but I do have a 2017 I could donate to the cause. Just a fair warning the barrel was pretty weak on the last 2017 I drank but it's yours if you want it. Sorry you got screwed OP!

    I guess this question is more for the moderators, but are there ways by which Beer Advocate is able prevent the user @OSU91 from being able to create another brand new account?

    If you know where you sent this, could you search for untappd check ins of the cans you sent nearby to there and... hunt him?

    In a situation like this as a last resort I’ve called FedEx prior to box reaching final destination hub and requested it be redirected to sender. Sucks because you have to basically pay shipping both ways but can recover your beers if they are worth that extra expense.

    Why go thru this kind of trouble just for some Tree House cans? Especially at this point in that brewery's life cycle? If that was really the ultimate goal, @OSU91 has to be a special sort of depraved.

    @JBYRD64 sorry to hear man as a fellow CT trader. Don't lose faith in the people on here we've all been that new trader w/ no history. As others have said have new guys ship first I know I did for my first few but just live and learn I suppose. Wish I could help with what you were getting back. Fresh account on his end to which makes me nervous.

    Hey I'm still super pumped when I get TH cans as extras, even if the novelty has worn off they make wonderful beers. Kudos to anyone reading this that's hooked me up in the past!

    It's been so quiet on this forum of late, I stopped checking it on a regular basis. Mea Culpa.

    To answer your question, I believe @Todd has the ability to do this (some time ago there was a prior BT who was banned and tried to get back on with a new account - I believe Todd was able to block his attempt).

    Needless to say, after reading over this thread, I'm very concerned that we have a predator on the site. Normally, I would recommend caution and patience, as we give the perpetrator a chance to respond, but in this particular case it would be my recommendation that we go with a quick trigger for this guy.

    I don't have the ability to tag him or I'd do it myself, based on what I've read on here. However, in view of what now sounds like multiple victims and a predatory pattern of behavior, it would be my suggestion that perhaps we consider a quick ban. I'll see if @dmbforever and @Todd agree.

    Shouldn't be a problem. GN just did a big can release of DS last Saturday, and I just confirmed with them that they still have 4 packs available. Just let me know if you still want some and I'll run over there today.
