They were brewing a rauchbier on New Year's Eve. I wasn't planning on making the 2.5 hr trip to the brewery again anytime soon, but if they can that bad boy I might seriously have to reconsider.

Is Suarez available anywhere in Manhattan, either bars or bottle shops?

On tap - yeah but not manhattan - check beermenus but it makes it to a few places in Brooklyn (there was lots of speculation in the old thread as to why)

Bottles/cans to go - no (except maybe the very occasional event or something)

Edit - here’s where the chat starts

Shop at Threes had Qualify cans 2pp a couple weeks ago. Dude there said it was a one off. Would love to see that become semiregular or very regular.

Every time I see Suarez release something, I Google map the brewery, praying it somehow magically got closer.

I do the same. It's a nice drive though.
At least that is what I tell myself

Dan used to brew at Sixpoint and lived in Brooklyn before he went to work at Hill. I'd imagine that's why they distribute to Brooklyn more than anything that was speculated in the previous thread.

They’ve said it’s because driving through manhattan to make deliveries is too nerve-wracking.

Had a couple pints of For Kicks at Beer Street last night and was really impressed. Really nice flavor and aroma and wicked easy to drink. Another Suarez beer that you want to sit and have 3-4 pints to see how it goes.

Had Domain 3 onsite yesterday. It's fantastic. Favorite beer from Suarez so far. Highly recommend.

Sardines are awesome! If you want to try something that sounds like a tree hugging millennial would eat but is actually fantastic, try Alton Brown's Avocado toast.........with sardines on it. It's great and good for you too.

    PS that beer looks great!

Fundamental, man. Funda-fucking-mental. Don’t know how this beer isn’t over a 4 on this website. Gonna do my part to change that now.

I make those all the time.

Pro tip: use kipper snacks (smoked sardines) for even more deliciousness
