    I don't like:

    Sour candy
    Sour milk
    Sour beer

They are all the same and are all bad.

    :sunglasses:

And what is the price for that 4-pck?

    Cheers!

I don’t recall. Something fairly unreasonable like $12 a four pack.

....btw, I’m pretty sure @meefmoff was referring to a South Park joke ‘god damn loch ness monster asked for about tree fiddy’

    Guess confirmed.

Yes, thx Tzieser. I guess I overestimated how widely known that joke was.

Please ignore and carry on everyone. Nothing to see here!

It'd be cool if more breweries made 4% or lower Milds.

I just thought you meant $13.50.

Yes, I do indeed remember the episode of 'tree-fiddy'. I just did not get the 'association' here. :flushed:

    Cheers!

Which would 'translate' to a 6-pack price of around 18 bucks a 6-pack. I suppose everybody will have their own 'perspective' here but these prices for a 4.5% beer is ridiculous in my opinion.

Maybe someday a brewery will produce a sub 5% ABV Saison for a reasonable price?

    Cheers!

Per @jesskidden ’s link here in NJ it would be closer to $15 a theoretical six pack, but $18 wouldn’t surprise me for PA. Still ridiculous IMO all the same

$12 for a 4 pack sadly isn't too shabby around here.

Also, the beer is 5.2%.

The brewer also think it's 4.8%, at least that's what the example they attached to their on the TTB COLA application said:

Their website currently lists it as 5.2%. I've also seen 5% and 5.1% on local draft lists and on the bottles themselves in stores. I can't say I've ever seen 4.8%.

    From their website:

    https://www.allagash.com/beer/white/

    BEER DETAILS
    Availability: Year-round

Package Size: 12 oz. bottle, 16 oz. Can, Draft

    ABV: 5.2%

Grains: Allagash 2-Row Malted Barley Blend, Red Wheat Malt, Raw White Wheat, Oats, Carapils

    Hops: Nugget, Crystal, Czech Saaz

    Spices/Other: Coriander, Curaçao Orange Peel

    Yeast: House

And from the link in the OP if you zoom in on the cans they say 5.2% as well.

Ahh but see, that's just why I thought it was a good placement. It comes out of nowhere unexpectedly, just like the loch ness monster! :stuck_out_tongue:

This is probably why BA frowns on memes.

    Ahhh...now these posts make sense.

To be totally honest, I thought this was in the "Allagash White in 16 oz. cans" thread.

This is a sign you're participating in too many threads.

I always forget about Dogtown. It's a very good beer, not nearly as syrupy sweet as most Lagunitas beers. WAY more IPA-like than their flagship IPA (that beer is just syrupy sweet malt, no hop presence whatsoever to me). Lagunitas needs to market this beer better because it's very underrated and misrepresented in their product line.
