cause it doesn't cost much to boost the alcohol and you can charge $2 more per 4 pk?

I listened to that podcast that someone posted here a few days ago with Sam. Basically what it boils down to is they listen to their fans when they're making beers. The vast majority of people who have their ears are the lactose hazebois, and they want high alcohol dessert beers.

Pretty eye opening, but also not surprising. They are a business.

Interesting that Schmear is advertised with "NO LACTOSE" as opposed to just not making mention of it.

Especially since the CS collab just doesn't mention it at all. My guess is that since "shmear" means cream cheese, emphasis on the cream, that they don't want people thinking that's a punny way of referencing tose.

GingerMan has some Other Half beer on called Green City Upstate. It's HORRIBLE. Doesn't even taste like Green City.

Gotta say the Did I Make Myself Clear? is a welcome change. Nice example of the west coast IPA style that I fell in love with lo these many years ago. An OH beer you could see through! Keep ‘em coming.

Missed out on Hop Showers cans but got it on draft tonight... Damn.

On another note, I feel like it's been a while since a dual-hop release. Hopefully those will come back soon.

Also, anyone notice that Mosaic seems off for the past 6 months or so? Just not as flavorful as this time last year. Tastes... Old. Last year every beer with Mosaic in it had a distinct blueberry flavor, getting none of that recently.

Holy crap, This may be the best beer festival yet with that line up and still 20 more breweries to go.
