https://brewpublic.com/beer-persona...ganum-as-upright-brewing-celebrates-10-years/ I know where I'll be this Saturday afternoon.
saw this a month ago. bummed to be missing this as I am in the Bay till Sunday. Upright is one of my favorite breweries that consistently knocks it out of the park with quality and creativity. Im sure this will be a cool event
I have been productive this morning, so it looks like I'll be heading over there around 2:00 or thereabouts. Hope to see a familiar face or two.
Damn, really wish I didn't have work today. Definitely trying to go tomorrow though, as I've been meaning to visit the brewery for a while. That doppelbock is calling my name.
Good size crowd at this event. Dopplebock and bitter were quite tasty. Sour fans will appreciate the wit, vintage Ives and the anniversary saison. The vintage Ives struck me as very cantillon like, though the sour was dialed down a bit.
Did you try the quad? I started with the Anniversary Saison (delightful!), and the cask bitter with Willamette hops is definitely up next.
Correction: Next up is a regular pint of Bill's Bitter. The cask was gone by the time the line got me to the bar. Ah well. Still a very proper Northern pint o' bitter. Nicely malty.
