Upright is near the top of my A list of places to go in PDX. Wish I was there.

Can't wait to try the Barrel-Aged Wit and Bill's Bitter. And the Anniversary Saison, of course.

Me too, but I'm also eyeing that doppelbock and the quad.

As long as I have a case of tums to go with it.

I have been productive this morning, so it looks like I'll be heading over there around 2:00 or thereabouts. Hope to see a familiar face or two.

Damn, really wish I didn't have work today. Definitely trying to go tomorrow though, as I've been meaning to visit the brewery for a while. That doppelbock is calling my name.

Good size crowd at this event. Dopplebock and bitter were quite tasty. Sour fans will appreciate the wit, vintage Ives and the anniversary saison. The vintage Ives struck me as very cantillon like, though the sour was dialed down a bit.

Did you try the quad? I started with the Anniversary Saison (delightful!), and the cask bitter with Willamette hops is definitely up next.

Correction: Next up is a regular pint of Bill's Bitter. The cask was gone by the time the line got me to the bar. Ah well. Still a very proper Northern pint o' bitter. Nicely malty.

I did. Wasn't thrilled with it. I thought it had a bit of a skunky flavor component on the finish.
