Taking the fam damily on an Alaskan Cruise in Mid-May and then spending 5 days in Seattle. Staying at the Hyatt near the Space Needle. Looking for recommendations for breweries that are close enough to walk to and/or short Uber ride. Not into IPA's. Our preferred beers are German lagers/ales, Pilsners, Helles, Doppelbocks, Kolsch, Altbier, etc. We also enjoy English Style Ales as well, ESB's (especially Cask), Milds, etc, but if push comes to shove, we lean toward the German lagers. Can you please recommend breweries that would "fit the bill". Thanks in advance!!

Machine House has a brewery down in Geargetown, but they opened a tap room that might fit your bill. Also, keep an eye out for Chuckanut beers. One of the best lager breweries in the country.

Not a brewery, but the Queen Anne Beerhall mimics a German beerhall and carries many German beers. That is in a very convenient location for you.

They're not a brewery though, so you won't find Washington's best representations of German (e.g., Chuckanut) or English (e.g., Machine House) beers. If you want those, beertunes recommendations are on point.

Do the recommendations have to be breweries, or can they be craft beer bars ?

Craft Beer Bar would be fine as well, didn't think about asking about those. Especially if they carry some Lagers I would not be able to find at the local brewery close to that area. Do you have any you would recommend, and then, any specific Helles, Pilsners that are don't miss?

Seapine is also a fairly quick Uber/Lyft ride from the space needle area and has several of your desired styles. Kid friendly.

Lucky Envelope Helles Lager. It's one of their flagship beers and I highly recommend.
