Sad story, still sitting on two bottles of Welcome Respite.

 

New Oxbow location. I, for one, can't wait to see what wild yeasts that cool ship can pick up in the beautiful night air in Everett.

Trillium, since they've opened up taprooms or beer gardens virtually everywhere else now .

I'd actually be most surprised if Night Shift was the acquirer. I'd love to see Mystic acquire them but agree that's a dark horse. Trying to think of who would be looking to expand and could use this spot geographically. It would be a great place for a proper Clown Shoes taproom. Jack's Abby could use a second tap room north of Boston and would be different enough from other nearby breweries.

 

Yeah Nightshift would be a surprise with the big Philly expansion on the horizon.

Idle Hands?

 

I don't know if it makes sense for a brewery that is a town or two over. It's gotta be a brewery looking to expand its footprint within the Boston area (across?). I feel like a lot of established players have been mentioned, but it's likely not any of the ones mentioned so far.

Small Change just got picked up by Night Shift Distribution, could be looking for a space?

 

Night Shift is still contract brewing some of their stuff because they've maxed out their own production, right? I guess the DTR brewing facility probably isn't big enough to make a difference for them, but they do seem like they're in the empire business...

I'd love it if Idle Hands was doing well enough to take on a second production facility, kinda doubt it though.

 

Tell that to Nightshift and Trillium.

Mystic would be ideal. Excuse the thread drift, but anyone know what the crowds have been like at Mystic? Thinking of making the drive up today to pay my respects.
