I've had my fill of IPA's this summer and am getting ready to finish the O-fest that's in my keezer. What's a good fall seasonal beer other than a pumpkin beer to put in next?

I'd go with an imperial s'more stout or something on that order, but that's just me.

Samuel Adams Winter Lager. I don't know how different it is from their Winter Warmer.
But the Lager is Full Bodied and very tasty, in the Punkin season sense.
Although you have to stretch to taste the spices in this one.
    Still a very good Bock.

Not sure if this'll be an unpopular choice, but I think boreal/forest spiced witbiers are a nice October drink too.

Scotch ales are nice this time of year, so are dunkelweißen and rauchbiers

There have been plenty of BA threads about lagers lately.

Maybe the Fall of 2019 could be the 'launch' of Czech Dark Lagers?

    Cheers!

A brown ale. Bell's Best Brown or Founders Underground Mountain Brown.

Pretty much anything that is darker and good to have around a campfire. That for me is more toward the porters, ambers and brown ales. Something malty.

I had a nice Plum Saison at Stone Cow last weekend. Currently enjoying a Greater Good Helena, very nice. Yet to come, Spencer Brewery's Imperial Stout, Monks Reserve Quadruple, and their Holiday Ale.

All good suggestions but I'm leaning towards a Vienna lager. Eliot Ness?

Not sure about the popularity but it's got to be the most Quebecois suggestion I've ever heard for a beer:wink:

Haha! I can't deny that, it wasn't something I'd tried before until I moved here from the UK. Would definitely recommend though!

Michael, that is so ironic in that I drank one of my homebrewed Spruce beers earlier this evening.

Which commercial Spruce beers do you drink?

    Cheers!

I enjoy both the Yards and Dogfish Head ones. I've actually had a few Yards recently and they really hit the spot.

I am personally not a fan of Yards Poor Richards Spruce Ale since it tastes too medicinal for my palate.

I have yet to try Dogfish Head Pennsylvania Tuxedo.

    Cheers!
