    Astronaut Status by Wiseacre. Imperial stout aged 11 months in Woodford Reserve barrels with cinnamon and vanilla.
    12.2% ABV
    Still too cold right now but upon first pour no doubt that bourbon and cinnamon hit the nose.

    I've acquired around 150 mugs & glasses over several years. Sometimes the glassware hunt is more tempting than the beer hunt. I enjoy it and that's what matters. Cheers

    Attractive light lemony yellow color with deep white cap and very good lacing.

    Big citrus, clove spiced, banana nut bread aroma. Hint of white pepper as well.

    Taste is spicy clove banana on entry quickly joined by a layered citrus effect that's not identifiable as lemon/lime or that sort of thing, rather a presence of the essence of citrus. And I mean light citrus, not sharp heavy citrus like grapefruit or anything like that.

    Still bitter, but not the full on, sharp pine, tongue assault that it is fresh. A nice sipper. A lot has changed from 10 years ago when I used to come home from work and drink a couple of these from the bottle in under 30 minutes. I really loved my super bitter west coast beers back then.
