    Details for tomorrow's release

    "We will be releasing a new beer this Saturday (1/4) at 11am via @greatsouthbay. “The Work of Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction” is a Multi-oat/Wheat DIPA primarily hopped with AU Galaxy and Vic Secret hops.

    We will be handing out tickets at 10am, and will begin sales at 11am. $22/4pk - one case per person. Limit subject to change. Can sales will end at 1pm. Draft will be available when the tasting room opens at 10am."

    Thinking of making the trip up. Any insight of what a typical release is like? If I show up at 11 is it a safe bet I’ll leave with cans or do they usually sell out to the pre-opening line?

    Showing up at 11 is fine. Come at 11:30 for no wait at all.

    On average, we usually enter sell-out territory around 1230, and sell out between 1-2pm. We tend to process the initial line in about 30-45 minutes, and see a steady stream of people thereafter.

    Missed out today on the 45 minutes of availability due to my son’s basketball game. No word yet but will 4pks be available at the usual stores on Monday?

    Bummed I missed this one. Decided to go to the gym before the release with hopes that I could get there around noon and pick up a 4-pack or two. Saw there were only 4 cases left on the IG story when I was about 25 minutes away so I turned around and kept it moving.

    Oh well..there's always next time.

    Wasn’t able to make it to the brewery but took a late lunch break Wednesday and got some cans from Haymaker. Drinking one now and damn this is good. Maybe one of the best IPAs I’ve had in months.

    Got all excited to hop in a zipcar and drive out to monarch, only to find out the car didn’t actually exist :thinking_face:

    hope the release goes well (can’t imagine it won’t), will be on the lookout for some on draft!

    Ha exactly - sent me to a parking garage, once I got there was told they don’t have zipcars period. Minor detail in the whole thing I’d say

    Is there a backup plan if they close down non essential businesses. Would you sell through twelve percent and distro to certain stores? Please say yes lol

    well, they received the cans late Friday afternoon. the bar is now closed until the end of the month. so that’s that.

    The silver lining is that it’s not a beer that’s going to drop off over the period of a month. Had my first can last night after gardening and grilling all day - it was really really good. It wasnt too sweet and a nice complexity.
