Follow their insta. You can usually figure it out on there.

but I agree, i wish Half Acre could print small descriptive hints on the side of their cans giving details for those who want them. It can be in small letters, say if it’s clear or hazy, what hops they utilized or what flavors to expect.

they do incredibly well with this on Instagram. But nowhere else

Is everyone just buying their beer from vending machines or getting it delivered now? If you have a question about a beer, ask an employee. They may know something about it!

Good advice. And when buying at the brewery I try to buy a pint or at least ask for samples.

The HABC people are almost too cool; when I ask for a sample from Alex or Misty, they sometimes make me chug the beer instead of daintily sample it. True story.

Do we know when (if?) the Bodem 12-packs are hitting distro?

They've only said "soon" for distro, as far as I can see (on IG). Classic Future is hitting distro next week, so maybe we'll also see Bodem at that time.

Bodem is in Binny's system for $20 a 12 pack. So probably within in the next week or two.

Finally got to try the Double Dungeons out here in CO. Very solid stuff... though I got a straight beam of bitter grapefruit pith pulp myself. Fucking great sauce.

Glad to know it can make it 1,000 miles away before it can find it's way 2 hours south of Chicago. WTF?!

Sips my Sure Bet...actually, not sure this matters. I'm not certain any of this matters!

Yeah, and OH somehow gets Ryeway and X before we do. Not sure we'll even see Ryeway at this point. How the hell does that work?! Regardless, at least I don't have to drive to Lake Zurich for rar beer that's reserved for me. Dodged a real bullet there!

Per their email, HA's got a BA Imp. stout with vanilla and cinnamon hitting on the 14th (no distro). I'm almost hoping this sells out before I have a chance to grab it; I've still got a bunch of Benthic in the fridge!

saw that as well, it sounds delicious. I may justb e fatigued from all these BA stouts and Half Acre's tend to not be on the cheaper end.

I'm grateful these days when breweries add cinnamon to their stouts, as it makes them an easy pass for me.

Otherwise I'd be homeless, shielded from the cold only by my empty bottles.

See, I'm the opposite, cinnamon is one of the few additives that almost always works for me; I've had a million coconut stouts with no coconut, plenty of vanilla stouts that needed more vanilla, but almost no one fails at getting enough cinnamon into a cinnamon stout.

    (for better or for worse)

From the production side,Cinnamon and Coconut are like polar opposites. It takes a fuckton of Coconut to get it to come through, but cinnamon is really easy to overdo.
