You do not go to the giftshop/bottle shop for younger bottles. You get them threw your server/bartender.

We were in the first group at Santa Rosa. It was all the way around to the back parking lot when we went in. Beer is on point. Don’t miss the other releases.

I’m off today, but this morning was a zoo. I’m assuming it’s some what of the same right now. Line was about 250+ right before opening.

When I was there last year, you could run into the gift shop/bottle shop any time you felt like it. In our case, we stopped in after our glasses of PtY. It's a pretty sizeable store and they had plenty of employees working the cash register, so the wait was pretty short.

And yes, that's where all the other bottles were being sold.

    Have fun.

I don't expect such luck this year but we can hope. What with bottles, Beat, and all. I'll be there Tuesday.

First off, Pliny the Younger was great. Second, so was the pizza I ordered. Third, the bartending staff was fantastic. Fourth, the folk in line and at the bar were friendly. Having said that, and fully acknowledging that I made the mistake of going to the Santa Rosa location, instead of Windsor, today was the longest I’ve ever waited in line for a beer in my life. I don’t make that claim lightly, as I once lined up at Tree House the day they introduced King JJJ. I’m glad I get to take some beer home and share with some friends, but it was a long day.

Did they actually run out of bottles? If so, anyone know at what time?

First time I’ve been at a PtY release.
I showed up just after 9AM (maybe 915?).
Didn’t get into the bar till around 4:15PM.
Stuck around about an hour (they got my pizza out quickly, and the staff gets your beers almost immediately. Cannot praise the bar staff enough).

Also, the bartender told a few of us at the bar who sat down around the same time (4-430PM), that if we stayed our full 3 hours, then the PtY bottles might sell out by then. She recommended that we ask for our PtY bottles around 6 to be sure we got them. She thought they might run out around then. Just to be clear, I have no idea if that was an accurate prediction, cause I had to leave for a late dinner reservation in SF.

Their Instagram post said that they ran out of bottles at 10pm in Windsor and at closing in Santa Rosa last night.

It’s been anywhere from 6-9 hour waits at both locations all weekend. They ran out of bottles right at close last night in Windsor.

It’s slow going, anticipate at the very least 5-6 hours in line, but if you’re in line early enough there is absolutely no doubt you will drink it and leave with bottles....it just takes all day haha

Thanks for the info. Currently at 2 hours or that’s at closing? Do they cut it off at some point?
