Not one use of the terms "synergy" or "swimlane" or "value added"

I would have thought some of that might have gone away with the stodgier Dutch presence.

All perfectly cromulent terms that would embiggen any press release.

I suggest "synergistic" and "value additive".

Swimlane is honestly new to me and I will be sure to quarterback that say for forward thinking applications.
    Cheers

Since you asked ... What I requested was a simple answer, like I said I am very complimentary and appreciative of great beer at better prices. So the response was an generic "Check the Beer Finder" duh, I know how. My response was simply, "That's not what I asked, please answer the question" and Lagunitas response was "Ask the PA distributor" of course my response was "No, it's your question to answer" that's when the ass responded "Dude, sounds like you need a beer" and that's when I lose my (patience) ... no I don't need an beer, and I don't need your stupidity.

Look, after all these beers, all these dollars, hours, travels. laughs, good times, bad times (I remember the beer I was drinking when I got the bad phone call, the one that my Dad died), life as we all know it, the last thing I need is some punk's stupid response. And I don't take anyone's crap, as I'm sure any professional doesn't.

It's all about respect. And no, dude t420o I'm not an troll, are you? My crowd came to maturation in the late 70's and early 80's in Philly, look up the life someday. Yes, Respect.

Sucks was one of their best! I can't believe I forgot about that one - but I've only been drinking Born Yesterday from them the last few years. Then again, it helps I get the beer a day after it was "borned", being so close to the brewery.

Personally I couldn't give a flying fuck what they said to me or how they said it, but not distributing Hairy Eyeball to PN is some fucked up shit.

If you are a fan of BY you must try the new Founders Unraveled IPA, it's it's clone and much cheaper.

I picked up a bottle of the Eyeball this year mostly because of nostalgia. First time I've had it years and it was quite tasty. I'll pick up a second if I happen upon it.

Since the purchase by Heineken, I expected a bigger presence of Lagunitas beers but it has been the opposite. No worries. I've been a fan of only a few of their beers over the years and with recent entries into the Wyoming market, I don't need Lagunitas.

After recipe tweaks and format changes I quit buying it before they discontinued it... and that doesn't even consider the freshness issues (or rather lack thereof).

Other than BY I buy very little Lagunitas stuff anymore. Just seems like there's always a better and fresher option to drop coin on.

With all due respect, his second response to reach out to the distributor was valid. They likely decided to cut Hairy Eyeball from their portfolio of Lagunitas products.

I live in Chicago, Lagunitas has a brewery in our city. However, Hairy Eyeball is not distributed in Chicago (or Illinois), it's only available here in the taproom and once in a blue moon on tap at a specialty craft beer bar.

I agree the third response (You need a beer) shouldn't have been sent, but the lack of distribution is likely due to the distributor cutting it for better moving SKUs. Shelf space is very competitive for off-premise sales, with growing numbers of breweries and offerings. Non sellers get cut all the time.

Good point, because Idk anything (or care) about distribution. But then don''t do an email blast on the beer's release if you're not planning on distributing it. Bad business, period. The email blast went out. And, like I said, the response was beyond ignorant.

Who put out the email, the brewery or the distributor?
There are many, many beers that breweries say are distributed to NY, but which I'll never see because my local distributor chooses not to carry them. If I drive to a different distribution territory the selection may change.

I’m amazed you’ve made it through life this long when some guy responding by email with a fairly mundane response can set you off like this. It doesn’t make you tough to get so mad at this situation, in fact the opposite. You’re akin to the *********s that are so common in my generation. Triggered by the smallest things that don’t agree with you or go your way. Sad.

He's not trolling or kidding at all. I thought the same at one point. If you haven't received a passive aggressive, quasi-threatening Beer Mail yet, just you wait. Some of his posts are gems....have a look:

And if he really IS trolling then he's like a Level 98 troll. I've never seen anything like it.
