    Howdy dudes and dudettes

So, still the same routine (Home, errands, sleep -> repeat) but doing good so far. Lockdown is due to last until mid-May then they could ease the restrictions a bit.

Drinking Rochefort 8 at the moment, cheers all!

Good day BAs! We're off to a sunny start so far for another day of meaningless busywork. Today's Breakfast Beer is one more out of the refrigerator, OK but not spectacular.

I am eating a blueberry waffle my daughter made for me and drinking Sosus a DIPA (left) from Toppling Goliath, ABV 8.00% and Yellow Rose IPA (Lone Pint, Texas, right), ABV 6.80%, IBU 62. Different breweries and states (Iowa and Texas) but both are single hop with Mosaic hops and both are delicious. They are both juicy and refreshing as well as flavorful. There's grapefruit, mango, and blueberry, pineapple and then pine resin at the end. The aroma is pine and tropical fruits. However, the Sosus has more pineapple and blueberry, I guess it is sweeter, but Yellow Rose has a more
distinctive grapefruit rind and pine resin flavor at the end. I can't tell which I like better, they are both great. My daughter liked Sosus more, I am not sure, a bit of a bitter bite at the end is good too.

Sunbathed for about an hour and managed not to pass out, and now back inside. Last beer seriously. I’ve had enough.

    Bonjour les amis! Cou-cou!
Thought Monday morning would be appropriate for this ORB Saison (again).
Hush is damn fine stuff. Spicy, apple, golden pear - fantastic in the morning with the biscuit I just downed and some honey butter I made.
    Cheers. Tchin-tchin!

    375 ml. bottle.
    Bottled last summer.
Gentle pour yields a one inch fluffy white head over an ever so slightly hazy, not quite bright, body with some sticky lacing. Nose of funk and plum with a nice little bit of minerality as well. Taste of plums with a tad citrus flavor. There is a slight sweetness up until a nice, tart finish. Wow, what a beautiful, well-balanced beer we have here! Wonderfully full mouthfeel and overall, I highly recommend this to any and all sour beer aficionados. Cheers to the boys up in Morrisville, VT for another fine job!

Second pour on this glorious morning in Chicago, Magnetron by Metropolitan. This is an excellent Schwarzbier, tastes like a great slice of dark rye bread.

I have one hour of "work" today, an AICPA presentation for CPE credit, then off for a walk followed by a nap when the rain arrives. Such is life as a retiree.

Hope the sun and beer finds you wherever you may be!

Well, I hope this is taken in the right spirit - but I miss work, on-site. Yes, I'm fortunate to be able to stay-at-home while not (yet) being fired at this point. But damn... I can't wait to get back to real work, with real colleagues, and with real peeps.
Stay safe, man, see you out there...eventually.

Right! Can't remember if this is technically a BA three-of-a-kind or a French Royal Flush. Either way, @Shanex is winning!
