Mine too. In fact, there aren't many breweries in the country that I care that much about visiting. I'd like to one day make it out to Sante Adarius, Russian River, and Firestone. Add Fox Farm and that's about it. Otherwise I'm content with continuing to visit the places I've been and love, both in New England and beyond.

(Now, let's not misunderstand me here. I had a conversation with a friend who lives north of San Diego and he was telling me about a place he goes often and loves. I would assume, should he still like their beers, that we'll go the next time I'm out there; I assume the next time I'm somewhere else, we'll go to a brewery if the inspiration strikes. I just mean that I don't have any, "I need to go there someday" aside from a very few places)

In saison-related news, The City in Plaistow got a huge drop of Surf Casting -- shout out my brother who picked up half a case and alerted me to that fact. Always nice to have a grissette on hand.

    What about breweries in Europe?

I haven't had my Fox Farm farmhouse beers but I will say that everything else I've had is great. The Cabin, their smoked helles, is especially good. I get the TH comparisons with their IPAs, but they're less fruity/melony and most of it is through the chewing gum type mouthfeel. I think FF is much more hop forward whereas TH's yeast dominates the beer at times.

I have a ton of breweries I want to go to, but no plans to check any of those off my list at the moment.

You're funny. Americans are never being allowed in any country ever again.

(In all seriousness, no, I meant American breweries. One day I'm going to ride across Belgium on a bike and drink farmhouse ales until I become one.)

    Serious talk:

How long should we wait before we take this to the masses? I was considering linking this message and creating a main forum #SaisonSaturday post (obviously avoiding that title in the name of the thread).

I believe we could get a small, cult-like following. It might even do like 1/64th the love of a "OMG I just love hazy IPA" thread.

Are there that many breweries producing farmhouse ales in Belgium right now?

I know Dupont is the big one, but when I was there back in 2011 it was mostly the usual suspects you see here in the US...quads, tripels, beers like Duvel...etc. And of course, TONS of lambic and Gueuze. Which was what I mostly drank, because where else are you going to be able to stroll into any bar and find Cantillon for a few Euros? Some of it on cask too.

But I only visited Brussels and Bruges, so I can't speak to the rest of Belgium. It was also 9 years ago.

Just start a thread called, "What was the last Saison that impressed the hell out of you?"

That seemed to do the trick for lagers.

Are we basically talking about Belgian styles sans dubbels, quads or other abbey-style strong beers?

    BREAKING: We are going national.

This comes at the locking of this thread, however. That said, I need you more than ever. Comment in the beer talk thread.

Is it too soon? Did I jump the gun? Only time will tell.

You mean I need to venture out of the NE forum? I guess I'll make this exception for saisons.

Yeah I am afraid of the open waters of the national forums. I feel safe here.

Although we can show off more and humble-brag or whatever to the outside world.
