I went to Meijers to restock some food in my friends fridge I used over the last 5 days. I am now having some chicken breasts cooking in an air fryer with salt and pepper. I haven't eaten anything in 20 hours. I updated my match profile again tonight after getting some matches. Such is life. I might subscribe now.

Got a lot of Indiana beers to review yesterday, still have a few left of this as well.

Woke up early on the first crisp morning since spring. Feels good to wear a hoodie again.

In the dark I picked some peppers, tomatoes and a Serrano for an omelet to go with @GreenBayBA Memorial Brats and a 2017 Founders Breakfast Stout.

The stout has held up nicely with the chocolate presence prominent but not sweet. The coffee has faded a bit into the background but the oat mouthfeel is still there. I think Jim would approve of a breakfast stout.

[IMG] Poured into a 16 oz Nordic pint glass canned on 7/27/2020. Pours a very hazy orange with a finger plus sticky off white head that leaves a big thick ring of lace as it slowly settles into a thin layer of bubbles with incredible retention. 5

Smell is ripe melon, guava, passion fruit, peach, and apricot. 4.5

Taste follows cantaloupe, guava, passion fruit, peach, and apricot low on bitterness, huge on flavor. 4.5

Mouthfeel is massive, a tad sticky but not dry, soft gentle carbonation but almost creamy, and at 10.5% it is packed with flavor but goes down way to easy. 5

Overall this is a TDH NETIPA that is truly a special beer. Very balanced and amazingly approachable. Well done. 4.5 Cheers all and enjoy your Sunday.

A little bit of Mexican Coffee Cake (courtesy of @DoctorZombies) before trying to catch a bit more sleep. Hopefully.

Starting with one that I haven’t had in a long time. White Rajah from Brew Kettle. This goes down way to easy. Have a great Sunday everyone!

Good day BAS! Mrs Lizard and I are dog sitting overnight for our son who had to make a late-night trip to "da burg" with his female companion to pick up a dog. Otherwise, another uninteresting day begins.
Today's New Breakfast Beer is one of dubious origin, found in the back of my beer reefer:

Oily and a good unknown for organic chemistry students to try to identify all the organic acids present.

Was waken up early by some strong thunderstorms pushing through, but brought some much needed rain.

Coconut PM Dawn and watching some TDF. My kind of lazy Sunday morning.

I just paid for Plenty of Fish and got 2 women already wanting to meet. Quicker turnover than other apps. I did the personality test and all that jazz. I decided to put my availability in Ohio for that, so much better luck down the road after I move.

Well alright, lets do my first review in 8 weeks. 19.2 ounce can, no dating. Deep ruby red, light brown color. Nice 1 finger fluffy cream colored head. Aromas and flavors of big caramel, brown sugar, nutty roasted pecans, toasted biscuit, and brown bread/crusts; with lighter notes of chocolate, cocoa, raisin, plum, apple, herbal, wood, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal, woody, grassy, roasted bitterness on the finish. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; creamy/grainy malts, light chalky roast and sticky hops in the mouthfeel. Zero warming 4.5%. Very drinkable. This was traditional as hell for the English style brown. Nicely clean rich malts for the ABV, with restrained fruity English yeast and balancing hops. Light residual sweetness with lingering dryness. No complaints. 4

Cross post with the New Beer Sunday/Weekend Thread. I kissed a mango, and I think I liked it.

    Bell's Mango Oberon

Long story short, mango aroma overpowering, but the taste is balanced and enjoiyable. This is a good beer, one I will try again beyond my remaining three bottles.

It is easy like Sunday morning, or these tunes by Van Morrison.

Good morning BAs! Lots of thunderstorms rolled through last night, gonna be another hot and steamy day. Something new - “Dessert Cart” by Mountains Walking Brewery, Bozeman MT, an imperial pastry stout with chocolate and peanut butter:

Smells like peanut brittle, tastes like chocolate/peanut butter fudge. Working on NBW notes. Shout out to @JayWhitson for this tasty Montana breakfast beer. Have a super Sunday advocates!

Good morning Doc. I was telling my wife about your infamous relative this morning and she said they used to jump rope to the rhyme when she was a kid. Imagine if they made up a rhythm now a days about a murder that kids could recite?
My wife is a huge true crime person and she played this right after I told her about you. She also said she was acquitted. Cheers

Happy Sunday, BAs! Catching up on last night’s hockey games before getting some sun on the last day of summer (by my reckoning). Teachers report back tomorrow, but at least we’re teaching from home for the foreseeable future. I’d be hella nervous if we were going back in person, with face shields, etc.
