    Good morning all advocates.

Drinking an Innis & Gunn IPA, a mango IPA precisely, in all honesty I normally don’t really like this Scottish brewery but this one hit the right spot for once. I’m not stubborn or obtuse and gave them another chance:

Have a good Wednesday. I woke up around 130AM, my GF went to work after leaving here at 1245PM. So I slept all day, yep. And I got a cart and bag from my friend on Monday, so it's been good. Right before me and Julia went to Red Lobster with my $50 gift card from my dad. My sister has some more flowers, I gotta go up there today. Still working at 11PM today. More cat pics for you, they groom and then get in a fight and run around everywhere. Chuck is the crazy ass. Just got paid today, 350 per week is horrible. At least next week will be the holiday pay. I can't wait to be an Engineer again, I would save so much money since I barely buy any beer anymore. I haven't been drunk since the beginning of the year at least.

Redds wicked review. Very nice stuff. Good head retention/spotty lacing. Aromas and flavors of big red/green apples, fruit peel, citrus, grain, white sugar syrup, caramel, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Touch of alcohol booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Light herbal/grassy bitterness and alcohol spiciness on the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and spicy alcohol. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Medium-plus carbonation and body; with a very smooth and lightly creamy/syrupy/sticky mouthfeel. Fairly refreshing for the ABV. Mild increasing warmth of 8% after the finish. A very enjoyable offering without feeling too artificial. Dangerously drinkable. 3.9

I got my GF into prog metal and tech death. She loves The Ocean now, so that's how you know I am going to marry her some day. BTBAM is the next one to show her.

Cost of living is crazy man. I honestly make a bit more a week but need to have room mates. 4 of them plus my girl. Not my parents lol. It’s nuts over here.

    Good morning BA
Finally off work for a whopping 48 hours before I work the holiday weekend. F...ing beer me
    [IMG]
I am going to attempt to drink a large quantity of gifted beers that are old or just not styles I prefer before January 1. Bells calls this one juicy, but the bitterness is pronounced. I like the bitterness, but not the rotting tropical fruit taste.

Getting a nap early to try to salvage half a day. Cheers all!

Good day BAs! Off to a warm start - last ****ardly snowfall is almost melted, just some remaining in the shadowlands. Today's New Breakfast Beer is one I searched for years ago then accidentally found last November:

The best IPA I've had in a loooong time - something good out of DC. Actually, the few brews I've had from that sinkhole of corruption, I've rated 4 or above. So I guess that means DC makes better beers than decisions. Actually, if Wings were available in this area, it might well edge out PseudoSue as daily beer #2 (or #3 or #4 or ...).

A bit of juice to start my day off work.
Morning Haze from Moose Lake Brewing - Moose Lake, MN - 7.3% ABV - 750ml crawler.

    look: 4.5 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 4.25 | feel: 3 | overall: 3.75

    Canned Oct 30, 2020 - Consumed December 30, 2020.

Pours a hazy and very dank, murky orangish color. 2 finger fluffy, and frothy slightly off white head. There's some very beautiful lacing on the glass as the head dissipates.
The nose is has a nice citrus aroma. It's not a "hot" citrus aroma that a lot of beers of this style have, it's more mellow. Mango, a hint of pineapple is also here.
Taste - A nice mellow mango flavor here in the beer, and just a faint hint of a more pine hop in the background.
Somewhat of a tangy feel here. It's not really creamy, or soft feeling. It's got a good full body, but the mouthfeel isn't right for the style.
Overall, it's good for an IPA. I like the flavor and aroma. The feel of the beer is way off for the NEIPA style, and this distracts from the beer.

“And 11 long haired friends of Jesus in a chartreuse Micro Bus.” My father owned that 45 and tortured us as little kids with it. Chip Davis wrote that with McCall. Not sure if he had started Mannheim Steamroller yet or not.
