Bell's Brewery (2021)

I had my first bottle last night, purchased at my store where it was delivered yesterday, so it's as fresh as can be. It's as tasty like it always is, although I think the honey flavor may be slightly more noticeable than prior years.

 

I only bought a couple of singles due to an extensive backlog of beer in the house, but man, it delivered as always. Absolutely loved the bottle I had last night. Admittedly though, I’m an easy room...

 

Hopslam seems as good as it ever has this year! Usually only do 1 sixer but I'll be snagging a second.

 

I had 4 on Thursday night (I was feeling just fine!). I thought this year's batch was less sweet, more bitter and less viscous than year's past. Still good no doubt but I do like Hopslam on the sweeter side.

 

I think this years Hopslam is as good as it’s been. Actually wondering if Bells tinkered with the hop blend this year

 

Had one last night. I agree with others saying it’s not as sweet and syrupy as prior years. The bitterness is more pronounced and it does not drink like a 10% ABV beer. Probably why I’m feeling so sleepy today.

I also had this years Hopslam yesterday. It’s one of my favorites and did not disappoint.

 

same. Usually stay away the last few years but I’m glad I grabbed a 6’er this year.

That's a pretty huge mistake by that store considering Bells sells them for $42

 

I took a triple look to make sure I wasn't seeing things.
