Thanks for the vid! Looking forward to tasting Double Maple! Do you find the use of maple challenging for figuring out the gravity?

 

I can’t wait to try Double Maple Pusher! Stopped at the Great Notion booth at EBF 2017 several times for Blueberry Pancakes… the Double Stack and Blueberry Muffin Cuvée. I had always wanted to head out to Oregon but my wife and I finally decided to pull the trigger after Extreme Beerfest where we struck up a great conversation with James (while in line for waffles of course) and he helped me convince her that we had to go. We had an amazing trip!

Any way, given their massive explosion over the past few years (5 taprooms I believe), I would like to know if they have any plans to set up an East Coast outpost at any point!

 

Should I save this for the morning after? This begs to be drunk with pancakes.

 

Excited to try your beer! My brother lives in Portland and the only beer I've tried of yours was at Pine State... Biscuits & Hazy which was awesome and definitely Portland! haha

 

I haven't had a chance to get up to Great Notion yet, but it's certainly on my list! How did you guys get started in industry? What are your stories?

 

Iv seen so many of your beers posted on IG over the years. Very excited to try one of your beers for the first time!

 

What's the secret to getting a good maple flavor in your beers? I would think that if its added during fermentation that the yeast would eat up most of the sugars and change the flavor profile a bit.

Love having your brewery right down the street in Ballard, WA, What are your favorite beers as brewers that you have made at Great Notion.

 

I recently bought a waffle maker and used Kodiak Cakes mixture. I had Log Cabin syrup along with mixed berries on top and this beer tastes exactly like it. I loved it. Well done Great Notion!

 

Seems like every american stout is 9, 10 or 11%+ for the past decade or so. Is there a place for a stout you can crush a 6 pack of?

Great Notion hasn't even been around for FIVE YEARS, yet. Recall that their flagship Juice Box DIPA blew away the East Coasters in D.C. back in 2016 as it expanded the burgeoning NE Hazy IPA revolution.
