    Have a good Monday. Today is 7 months with my gf, and her parents don't trust me yet or something. Anyways, yesterday was my day off, so I need to go in to work at 10 or 11 PM, so not too bad. We might go to a brewery, if they are open(rare). Woke up at 1115PM. I did a pc part picker for my gf to have a desktop computer that doesn't suck.

    So I forgot to eat before going to sleep after my gf went out before 10AM. I had some chips and salsa I think. But then I cranked up the broiler for 20 minutes at 4 AM for this with seasoned salt and chili lime lawrys. Pork Chops and a whole chicken breast. Temp and color was perfect. I amaze myself sometimes.

    Got a hootie I found in the back of the fridge. Still tasting great as pairing with the meat. I was full after all that. I don't need a nap yet. Just some video games to chill with. The BCI is a lot more impressive than the Gojira Album for me this week. I racked up 220 plays on BCI vs 70 on Gojira. :heavymetal:

    PS Steg is 1.6 lbs up after a week of adoption! Coat looks great! He gets along with, but is a bit bossy with the other cats, especially Chuck. But never the humans :joy: Before/after pics

    I wish u fellas luck. I got my girlfriend pregnant within the first 2 months of hanging out. I thought her dad was going to fuck me up but instead he was very happy (?) and now we are gettin married lmao. It’s prob because the first day he met me was while I was replacing her starter on her car. Maybe it was a good look. But good luck to u guys. I’m surprised I got lucky with that one. It still remains difficult sometimes.

    Good day BAS! Off to a rainy start today - we are supposed to go to the range at 1000 but I dunno now. Yesterday we had a power outage in the morning that lasted until evening, so no internet and no posts. I did get 700+ 9mm brass deprimed and ready to reload so at least I didn't waste the day. Many beers were consumed while depriming. I picked up some more ammo (local dealer got in a pallet of ammo) at $30/box of 50 9mm and $40/50 45 ACP.
    Today's New Breakfast Beer - DDH PtE from IPA Cyberfest 2021:

    Decent Impy IPA. It's been several years since I've had PtE so I can't really compare them, but other than saying both are drinkable, they're still just beer. Rating 3.9, rDev -12%.

    Super Kriek W/ Tanzanian Vanilla bottle from NBS bif 13 thanks to @Dimidiata

    L: magenta in color light pick 1 finger head that fades quickly

    S: vanilla and tartness upfront faint hint of cherries

    T: I was worried vanilla would overpower but funk/light tartness and cherries lead the way, then finished with notes of vanilla

    F: semi-dry, think the vanilla played a part and finished a touch sweet vs tart.

    O: it was a bottle I enjoyed and interesting to taste vanilla in Kriek beer.

    $30 for a box of 50? Good thing I also reload. Picked up 500 once fired cases from Midwayusa & grabbed another bag of 500 from a local sporting goods shop before they went out of business. My favorite powder for 9mm is Hodgdon Longshot. Have a nice time on the range.

    I put this in Google's translator and I like how it translated the first part with "avocats" as: "Chimay Blue - cheers to you beer lawyers!"

    Can's bottom reads:

    "03/09/21
    A Billion Barbies"

    Moderate pour yields a 3/4 inch tan head over a black body with a bit of sticky lacing. Nose of subdued aromas of dark malt and coffee. Taste of a bit more pronounced coffee with coffee (and hop) bitterness on the finish. Good feel and overall, a solid coffee porter and would definitely have again. Cheers to all the brewers involved!

    Yes - same as the English saying: “playing devils advocates”. I just cannot find a better and literal translation to advocates than avocats (lawyers).

    If beer needs lawyers here we are!

    Vet just called and said they were about to begin. Not a fan of not being able to be there.
