Ommegang Blueberry Coffee Three Philosophers Quad, 9.7% ABV. Pours opaque brown with a 3+ finger beige head that left some lacing. Nose is coffee and blueberry. Taste is coffee all over the place, with vague fruit in the background that is probably blueberry and cherry, slightly tart, no sweetness, moderate coffee bitterness. Decent mouthfeel, overall good.

If you're REALLY into coffee, you MAY like it. I like coffee, drink it daily, and like quads, but didn't care for this.

    Another Nordeast.
I'm probably going to stop at work tomorrow before I head to the cabin. Nordeast is on sale this week, and I'll get a 12 pack to take out there.

Ajax won the Champions League that year, but November? No soccer tournament ends that time of year. Either way that looks quite cool.

Wormtown Be Hoppy. Another successful Windows 10 20H2 upgrade accomplished, one less ticket to be concerned about.

I feel the same. I get to the point where I go back a re read my post and wonder how the hell I got so many typos in there my sentences make no sense.

Happens to me all the time. What I have observed though is the more I drink the more typos I make. Most times I do what my teachers preached. Check your work. And I do. I correct a lot of typos in the early evening. Later though I guess I do not give a crap and send without checking. I hate that I do that.

A couple of thoughts from me...I have the CD of this buried somewhere and haven't seen it in years. Though always remember really liking it. Listened to it a couple of times streaming recently to get back into it, though I can never fully commit to music that way. Still, I could remember the genius that it is.

And am blown away with it now. This is an incredible release. The pressing is stunning, Woody Shaw and Joe Farrell are underrated and beasts playing on this. Ron Carter has the literal Guinness Book of World Records for how many albums played on.

Then the entire album reminds me of my favorite unsung Wayne Shorter album called The All Seeing Eye. Which has a big ensemble like this. Which I would have had a first pressing off years ago, except as I was walking into one of the stores I always go to, probably the only other guy that is obsessed with Blue Note as I am in Houston (well maybe a bit hyperbole but not much ha) was walking out with a big smile on his face, and literally winked at me. When I went in, I found out he bought a bunch of OG Blue Notes and The All Seeing Eye was one of them. Not that I was upset, but at first a little deflated. Until I saw the first pressings of Tony WIlliams Spring and Lifetime that he didn't pick up so that was still a good day ha.

Anyway, another long rambling story from me, sorry ha. But I love Passing Ships.

Psychedelic Love: Plethora of Fruit by Branch & Blade. Definitely the highest floatie-to-beer ratio I've seen but this is quite good so whatever.

    Review here!

Big band combos done right...I understand...:grinning:

I concur with the Woody Shaw assessment, too...I love most of his releases...

Yesterday was New Mexican beers-Santa Fe Happy Camper and 7K IPA, and La Cumbre Slice of Hefen. Today is Bacardi Dark and Coke. Tomorrow will probably be New Mexican beers again.
