Saturday off, JamFuel goes to Hyllie Bryggeri. You know the drill. First up, Nyhamnen Porter on a glorious fall day in Malmö.

Hej! @JamFuel and all… we know the drill? For sure, when the Swedish starts this early that must means he intend to sample a number of brews all day.

By the way, what’s “fall”. Our English buddies may wonder… see bellow

    Cheers! Santé, and skål!

Not many Brits on this thread, sadly. And yes, today will be all about beer, Formula 1 and jazz.

We used to have a few hanging out with us, like @911CROFT, @EmperorBevis doesn’t post much here either.

Beer? I’m in. Formula 1 maybe and jazz is occasionally my jam.

Bedarö Bitter, one of the real Swedish classics. Don't think I've had it on cask before.

:joy::joy::joy: They sure do, particularly when you live in an oak/maple/beech climax forest!

@JamFuel - thanks for starting today's thread! Oh to be young and have a functional liver again!

    Today's New Breakfast Beer:

Sorry - bad pix. This is the salvaged filtered version - the beer is gone. Although it's advertised as a kolsch, it seems more like a pale ale to me. Still decent however - you can't go too far wrong with citra hops! Rating 3.99, first review.

I ended up having a food coma and passing out at 7 last night. Woke up at 10 for a Skype chat with Julia and woke up around 5. Will definitely be eating Mario's again. It's world class ny style. Loved the wings and mushrooms too.

I've been in NC for a month now. No reason to leave to be seen.

More leftover beer from last year. It's still good. Crisp and clean dortmunder.

Good morning BAs! The dogs and I managed to complete our walk between the rains, with cooler temps and cloudy skies. The pups are now relaxing after their breakfast, so it must be coffee time for me - Central Waters’ “Peruvian Morning” from the Bourbon Barrel Aged Brewer’s Reserve Series:

Bottled 2018. From a 4 pk I purchased at the brewery July 2021. Poured at 57°. Drinks like an iced coffee with a shot of bourbon and a single pump of chocolate; long bitter roast linger. More bitter coffee than KBS and a lot less chocolate and bourbon; thin for 11.7%. Still, a worthy eye opener…the coffee has held up well for 3 years old…Cheers and have a great day y’all!

This is the new Dragon's Milk Reserve release, by New Holland Brewing. It is forged with salted caramel. It is a triumph! It is sweet, but not too sweet. I really like this beer!
