It's in NJ- I saw a stack of cases in Fort Lee this morning.

    Evidence has arrived!

Hit up three stores for the entire variety of variants... One of which had a ton of 2020, 2019 and 2018 variant as well for sale. Was surprised to see that (didn't splurge on any of it though). Final pic shows one of three displays with vintage variants in-store.

A grocery store that’s a 7 iron from Side Project got the 2021 base plus every single variant. Did a practice swing in the parking lot. A hard 7. Don’t baby it.

Bought a case of 2021 BCBS, along with multiple bottles of the 3 variants available in the Omaha metro- Cherry Wood, 14, and Cola- on Black Friday.

    Agreed.

I was referring to the price of BCBS.

    The variants can get pricey.

Odd I’m enjoying one now and find it to be well balanced between the Stout and Bourbon flavors.

Here in Tacoma, we're seeing bottles of the cola, regular 2021 and the 14.

Out of curiosity, is 24.99 an ok price for the 14? Seems high to me, but what do I know?

Cola wasn't as weird tasting as I thought it might be

    Cheers! :beers:

Maybe it was specifically that I don't care for Four Roses bourbon, then? Because I love most BBA stuff à la KBS, BCBS, etc. I appreciate you sharing your take on the beer, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

You're not really missing anything. I am drinking my ONE original, like last year, one and done. Actually a waste of $14, I could've gotten my usual mix a seven at my local supermarket loaded with great classic beers for $13.50. Look, it's good, but think of it this way, 3 16 oz bottles would run $42 when you can get an 4 pak KBS same 48 oz total for $24. GI is a fucking joke anymore, it's an disgrace what they've done to the Bourbon County legend. The original creator should be embarrassed, if he even cares anymore. I always say, look at my list, 2012 Bourbon County and variants will always be the best beer ever made. This beer plain and simple has become a joke.

There were several pallets of it at the local Costco today ($10.99, 2 bottles max), but since I was not interested I did not check the year.

I just looked it up, and Chicago isn't even IN Bourbon County! It's in Cook County! I'm starting to wonder if there's a Bourbon County at all? This whole things starting to sound like a myth

Bourbon County was one of the great beers that introduced me into loving BA stouts. That said, it was probably 10 years ago and it's now Jumped the Shark for me...

Well, I've always considered Bourbon County a bad joke! But seriously, all we ever see around here is the base beer, as I recall usually at $20+ a bottle. I usually buy one just to say I've had it, then one and done.

I didn’t get any this year but I think I still have a 2019 in the cellar. These beers age really well
