    Good day BAs! Woke up to just enough snow this morning to cover everything - streets, ground, parked cars, etc. Dark and chilly. Today's New Breakfast Beer is from NBS BIF #14 and @Roy_Hobbs, a delicious Biere de garde aged on cherries:

    Nicely tart and smooth with cherry notes - rating 4.18, rDev -6.3%. Thanks Ross - this'll go on my watch list!

    Good morning BAs! Thank you @Ozzylizard for unlocking the doors this chilly rainy am…chores done, so it’s coffee time - KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge:

    Bottled 10/15/20. Poured at 51°. A delicious coffee imperial coffee stout to get me going; however, I find the fudge is fading fast and the coffee is tasting a wee green peppery…my last bottle…drink Now young padawans my recommendation is…

    Taking a break from work to bottle my homebrewed Timothy Taylor Landlord. Just sampled some to see how it tastes, so, technically, I'm drinking!

    Side note, I cracked one of my four bottles of Celebrator Doppelbock last night. I always buy a four pack at this time of year. That beer is so damn good! Highly encourage everyone to go grab some and enjoy it on a chilly night.

    The beer poured out a dark brown color, looking black in the glass; brown head, rich, thick, and spongy. Strong milk chocolate and cocoa smell; subliminal coffee notes. Sweet chocolate and cocoa flavors with a healthy dose of coffee bitterness; maple syrup. Heavy body; smooth and velvety; big residual sugar mouthfeel.

    This is a well-crafted imperial coffee stout. It has killer looks and great all-around smell, taste and mouthfeel.

    ...first beer of the day as Rocket the Wonder Dog and I wait for our hot wings to cook...

    Upslope Grand Reserve bourbon barrel aged. OG Batch 1000 strong ale aged for 4 years producing a hefty 21% abv. This may be the most memorable beer I've had in years? Breathtaking alcohol up front followed by sticky sweet dark fruit, vanilla, burnt brown sugar. A nutty and woody finish. Superb!
