Good morning BAs! A breezy upper 50s start…the dogs have been walked and fed, the kitchen cleaned…coffee time - Central Waters’ “Peruvian Morning” BBA Coffee Stout:



Bottled 2018. Poured at 56°. Sadly, the coffee is kaput. Notes of bourbon and vanilla; the base plus barrel flavors are still tasty, but another coffee stout that has aged out, imo.

A cool sunny day forecast, it should get up into the low 70s here…driving yesterday I saw multiple license plates from Onterio and Nova Scotia, as well as our mid-west. Cheers y’all and have a great day!

I had Peruvian Morning vintage 2018 slated for a review this Winter @DoctorZombies , think it was a one off so may still go ahead but sad it dropped off.

No formal cellar review for this one, as it was a one off release (canned September 10, 2020) by Revolution Brewing aged in Blanton's & Buffalo Trace barrels, brewed with Canadian Rye Malt and English/German barley selected by big box liquor store Binny's.

OG Take on a draft pour linked here. Getting the same take, tastes like a Ryeway to Heaven and Straight Jacket blend, held up very well.

Can't believe I didn't crack open a Revolution beer a dozen days into 2022.

Well my shitty job wanted me back and after carrying some groceries up a flight of stairs I figured health insurance would be nice. But going to half the hours for now. Oh well accidentally ended up in Hammond by not paying attention to which way I was turning. Bait and Click

 

Erica Belgian craft lager.
Came across this one by coincidence. Not the most interesting style, but I've had some tasty 'craft' lagers before. Taste is not bad, but almost no carbonation.
At least I can't remember how much I payed for this hipster can
