    I had to double-check, but the Schwinn Krate bikes didn't have sissy bars -- they were my ultimate wants at 12 years old!

    (And I'm not a grandfather, @jesskidden ... though my younger brother is. :wink:)

    I had a Schwinn Traveler, solid black, that slightly shifted gears, that was a great bike. Late 60s model. I rode that thing all over Richmond. That bike went to college with me. I later got a very fine Holdsworth Equipe, orange and blue that was beautiful. It was a 5 speed and geared so nicely. Brooks, Campagnola, the whole bit. I recently gave it to a friend who re-builds bikes and it looks great. Some things are just timeless.

    This is what I imagine 66.6% of BA users look like. I don't have the long hair anymore, and I have more beard, but I am in that percentile.
