Thank you for the heads up. I was also wondering this about some of the cans I picked up from the brewery a few weeks ago that were undated. Just to clarify, Springdale bottles are not dated, correct?

@JacksAbbyBrewing I just picked up a 4 pack of German style porter and there were no dates on the cans. I gave each a careful look-over but didn't see evidence of dates anywhere on the can and no smudging on the bottom.

nothing on the package or can. like @kp7 mentioned, not even smudges that maybe used to be a date. thanks for reaching out to us, much appreciated.

Same thing for my 4 pack. I do take comfort in knowing the rebranding of that beer is recent, so the cans aren't more than a month old

Bottles of Lagerness Monster made their way to the Wegman's near me (central NJ), what an incredible beer. However, the "Lagers of the World: Estonia" hasn't popped up around here yet, sadly.

I dabble in Shipping out of Boston here and there but I had one from a mix pack dated Jan 22 and it has never tasted better. Need to grab a full 12 and relish in its glory.

    Painfully, no distribution -

I just need to go back down to visit. I like Jack's. I just find it hard to find it relatively fresh around these parts.

Looks like we are going to have a nice sequence of new/revived releases coming up from Jack's Abby and Springdale:
    • Two co-pilot brews out today (I think both are beer hall only): Brite as Hell and Amadan (dry Irish stout https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/48475/334199/).
    • Various new Springdale releases in their tart ale and hazy IPA series.
    • Pushed to a 3/25 release for further conditioning, we have the first of this year's lagers of the world series. Destination: Iceland. An Icelandic Christmas bock (https://twitter.com/JacksAbby/status/1501593802653548546).
    • Hopefully the Czech-style dark lager that M-Fox24 posted about near the top of this thread will be out sometime around the end of March as well.
Personally, I'm really excited for the last two on the list. Great to have some new flavors and styles to try out before getting into the summer months.

I think Destination: Estonia was either beer hall only or limited distribution, and I can't imagine that are too many if any at all still floating around. I had one 4-pack of it and it was quite good. I had the first one within a couple days of canning and it was (at least to me) a bit overpowering on the rye. I let it rest in the cans in the back of my fridge for 3-4 months and it mellowed out nicely. Similar to Framinghammer but with more grain flavors and less chocolate/sweetness; I also found it a little fuller-bodied.

Same here. Bought it at release time and didnt like the first can. It was too raw. I could tell it just needed some time to meld. 2-3 months later, voila! stellar beer.

I’m not one for detailed in-depth reviews but the Brite as Hell is worth a drive over. Sweet bread over a creamy, fluffy base. Get a case if you are buying a couple four packs, you’ll wish you got more.

Hoping for wider distribution on this one. Estonia was a bitch to track down(it was fabulous.)

Closer to Ball Square/CBC/Kappy’s but Estonia was so nice I would have taken a drive for it. Thanks!
