I can’t wait! I had you off the list for a bit with hint #2, as I read it a little too quickly and thought you were sending south.

I’ve never heard of See’s. Looking forward to it. Cheers!

I messed my chart up. Here's the corrected version.

Willibald's Brisk pale ale, made in Ayr, Ontario. North Dakota also has a town named Ayr. IIRC, it's one of four three-letter towns in ND -- Max, Ayr, Zap, and something else...I'll Google it later.

Anyway, this is a nice pale ale! Thank you, Peter! Here are more words in NBW.

Digging even deeper into my stash of Canadian beer provided by @Coronaeus: 2022 Lady Macbeth Barrel Aged Scotch Ale from Granite. Words in NBW.

This label is interesting. No bar code, no "alcohol is dangerous" verbiage. Looks very homebrewy. Except for the fancy silver foil that wrapped the cap.

    Thank you, Peter!

    I’m not either! :joy:
I live in a sleepy town across the river (30,000 people / 6,000 horses) but approx 230 weekdays a year I sneak over the border to the airport where I earn money to buy beer. Most recreational pursuits however are taken to the east or the north (big fan of our northern neighbor).

The Granite is about the oldest craft brewery in the province. Up until about five years ago they only offered growlers for take away. They’ve been canning for a few years now, but most of the cans have a generic label with the beer name written in by hand. In the past, when they’ve bottled a bigger beer, the bottle usually has a poorly printed tag tied around the neck. This is the fanciest labeling I’ve ever seen on one of their bottles, believe it or not.

Later on in this BIF I’ll run a LIF for one of their cask in a box beers

Nice! I still have a can of their ESB (from you) in my fridge that I looked at really hard before picking this one up...

Victory used to be distributed here, but that seemed to dry up a number of years ago. I've had a few of their beers and have traded for a couple, but it's been a while.

North Carolina is probably as far South as I could stand to retire - and even then, most likely in the Western part of the state. It took me 20 years of life to see snow and experience seasons other than "hot" and "hotter" (another @snaotheus hometown hint: the last time it snowed in my hometown was 1977), and I'm still fascinated by them.

Augusta (and South Carolina!) are well known for their Spring, but to me, it's even more magical up here, with flowers and shrubs coming back to life. They're like beautiful blooming zombies (BIF #16?).

Essentially true. The part of Munchen in which I stayed is known as "Little Istanbul". Overall, pretty safe neighborhood, but then Munich is a pretty safe city overall. I walked the streets at night in various stages of inebriation and always made it to my hotel or the U-bahn.
