Busted into my cellar this morning to enjoy this 52 month old version of one of my favorite beers of any style.

Revolution Ryeway to Heaven



Link to my Cellar Review. Bottom line, this held up well refrigerated over time, but the sweet spot for this beer is 0-2 years, no reason to age as it is great as released. Looking forward to catching up on some threads!

I took a "vacation" day today. I logged 64 hours Sunday through Thursday, but whatever. Of course, its cool and rainy here, so I'm just going to have to drink beer...

Happy Friday BA's! OT and the usual chores complete. I'm really enjoying a Frank White NEIPA brewed by J Wakefield for the Hawthorne Bottle Shop in St. Pete. @DoctorZombies thank you for taking the time to meet up last weekend and for this fantastic NEIPA!!

Drinking Pilsner Urquell. I actually hate drinking from mugs like this, but
it's my only Urquell branded glassware.



I watch way too much TCM and I keep seeing an ad featuring this song. Every time
I see it I think, wow I didn't know Sabbath covered an Otis Redding tune.



Charles Bradley sounds like Otis and this is a cover of Ozzy's tune

Weedy tropical fruit nose and taste. Good tasting but a little full/fluffy for me. Cheers and have a fantastic Friday y’all!

The little lady made big ole cheesesteaks for lunch and they were awesome. I think she chopped up about 8 strips of bacon and added it to them MBC Spring is really balanced awesome IPA!

Two orders of shrimp tacos, an order of steak tacos, and two large quesadillas. All from the food truck. I admit I had help eating them.

Life is good.

Another day, another 25k down. Feeling a bit sore today after 2 x 25k back to back.
But need to get used to that sensation for the 50K on trails in May.

In other news, got some more Breakside Wanderjack IPA at my local.

Feeling like it's going to be a decent Friday.
Sadly, have to go drink wine with some colleagues later (ha, not sorry).
